Combat magic doesnt give you a bonus to attack.only damage.Įdited by Raisthlin Arckon, 15 November 2009 - 08:55 AM. Im gonna try to solo the game on hard with one of those, the first one i made wasnt perfect as i didnt plan to make one.i wated too much points in willpower which wasnt needed at all afterall, but i could clearly see the potential.ĮDIT: oh and make sure one of your party members can cast Heroic Offense and use the tactic slots to make sure he cast it on your Blood mage/ arcane warrior at all times: use Hero - any - cast heroic offense. have fun its truly enjoyable to play that build

If you need healing, turn blood magic off, heal then turn it back on as it only takes 10 seconds to be available again so its not much of a problem. Some blood magic and the damage you will do with a good one handed sword ( and lots of points in magic to boost spell power) are more then enuff to clear huge pack of enemies on your own. You dont really need a lots of life unless you plan on making him a heavy spell caster as well. Very good for crowd control and damage. Combat magic + shimmering shield and the mage magic shield + a good armor (blood dragon, legion armor, juggernaut armor, warden commander armor) means your armor, defense and resist will make you almost unvulnerable. The blood mages spells are awesome and a good addition to a melee mage. (they dont use health even if bloodmagic is turned on so its really nice)

Only get enuff willpower to have enuff mana to keep your sustainable spells/buff up and running.

If you going to make him a real warrior put a lots of points in magic to boost your spellpower which in turns will boost your damage with swords. it is in my opinion one of the strongest build if not the strongest
